Formation

Already after becoming a Doctor of Humanitarian Sciences in art history and theory, Renata DubinskaitÄ— turned to music and finished opera singing studies in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2015 with professor Vladimiras Prudnikovas. She continues her singing education privately with Fernando Cordeira Opa in Bologna. The singer specialises in baroque music and other early music repertoire, having deepened her knowledge in many mastercourses with such professors as Maria Cristina Kiehr, Vincent Dumestre, Rodrigo del Pozo, Jan van Elsacker, Barbara Bonney, Paul Eswood, Julie Hassler, and others.

Ensembles

She is the artistic director and singer of the ensemble „Duo Barocco“ (Vilnius), the main soloist of early music ensemble “Canto Fiorito” (Vilnius, artistic director Rodrigo Calveyra) and a member of Chamber Choir of Namur (Belgium, artistic director Leonardo Garcia Alarcon). As a soloist she is constantly invited to sing with the Ensemble of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic House „Musica Humana“. She is the manager and producer of the ensemble “Canto Fiorito” and International Kretinga Early Music Festival.

Operas & Festivals

She performed roles in many baroque operas, such as Circe in Stradella’s “La Circe”, Clorinda in Monteverdi’s “Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda” (conducted by Rodolfo Richter), Cesonia in Pagliardi’s “Caligula” (with the ensemble “Le Poeme Harmonique”, conducted by Vincent Dumestre), Elpina in Vivaldi’s “La fida ninfa”, Holofernes in the staged version of Vivaldi’s oratorio „Juditha Triumphans“, Xerxe in Handel’s opera „Xerxe“ and others. The singer performed concerts in Stockholm Early Music Festival, Brighton Early Music Festival, Namur Music Festival, Festival “Musiq'3” (Brussels), Glasperlenspiel Festival (Tallinn), “Jeunesse” Festival (Vienna), Riga Bach Chamber Music Festival, “NoMeMus” Festival (Sweden) and many others. In 2021 “Brilliant Classics” released her solo CD “Barbara Strozzi. La voce sola".
